Cilantro Lime Grilled Shrimp



    • 1 bunch fresh cilantro
    • 5 medium chopped scallions
    • 2 Jalapenos
    • 2 teaspoons minced garlic
    • 1 tablespoon lime juice
    • 2 teaspoons ground cumin
    • 3 lbs large shrimp


  1. In a blender or food processor place the cilantro leaves and stems, scallions, jalapenos, garlic, lime juice, and cumin.
  2. Puree
  3. Skewer the shrimp, leaving shell on the tail.
  4. Marinate shrimp in puree for 2 hours.
  5. Grill shrimp over moderately hot fire until firm.
  6. Prepare a moderately hot charcoal fire.
